School Kids Missing School Buses- What Happens?

One of our group supports carol from Gasmata Crescent, Whalan - have advised myself that the school bus still travels on Gasmata Crescent - but should the children miss the school bus in the morning to go to Chifley College - Dunheved Campus, the school children have to walk across Whalan Reserve reach Debrincat Avenue - North St. Marys and then turn right in Maple Street. This could mount up to 2 to 2 1/2 kilometres of walking

So this raises 2 issues:

one is the issue of taking the Whalan Reseve walk which could lead to lateness at school and reach school full of dirt on shoes and uses a lot of time that could be better quality time for the school children for their lifestyle!

two is that if school buses can drive down small streets why can't the same buses go back down the same streets that were deleted and ripped out of our suburbs? What I mean is the excuse the bus operaters use and the NSW Ministry of transport does not fit in ' Taking buses out of smaller streets and placing them into straighter roads'!

Com'on - the general community is not stupid! We understand that Group one buses haven't decreased in numbers but microscopically bus have had changes all around Mount Druitt. Decreasing services where it is needed and placing them where it isn't needed.
