Where Are The Signs - Bus Route 764?

It was been a long time since the Press Release from Allan Shearan Hon. State Member for Londonderry ( refer our article 10/12/2009), on 16th October 2009 regarding the implementation of the Westbus 674 new bus route along Bulolo Drive. In the meantime - only bus drivers have the time tables and through some neglect on Westbus, there doesn't seem to be any time tables notification 0n any of the 6 bus stops along Bulolo Drive. So what does this indicates to the public - it means that if commuters are not notified there could be less patronage and thus one day Westbus may decide to remove buses (again via NSW Ministry of Transport) from Bulolo Drive. Yet, we will have to advise Westbus that there has been no proper notification via local bus stop to date and no letter box droppings around the suburb of Whalan, so how can people travel if they don't know! Press Release(s) in local newspapers doesn't reach everyone!

Today, I have contacted the office of Westbus in Windsor which is responsible for the administering the new 674 bus route. Depot Manager Phillip Davis is on leave until next Monday, Phillipa -Supervisor is on leave for 3 weeks thus leaving receptionist Melissa Mitchell in charge. Melissa advised that she will attend to the person that organises timetable signs to be placed on the Bus stops - hopefully within the next week. In relation to advising community members of the new bus service by letter box dropping- she advised that is with the Planning Department of Westbus. Maybe we were spoilt that 'Busways' would letterbox drop the new bus service time tables!!!! If this is in the Planning Department of Westbus now - where was it before today or on the 16/10/2009?

I also was advised by a bus driver 1 week ago, that bus drivers on 674 have run out of timetables for 674 - apparently since the 'Press Release' from Allan Shearan, approximately 800 timetables have printed from an order of around 4,000 - confirmed by Melissa from Westbus Windsor.
