Residents of Blackett whom go shopping to Pumpton Shops used to get the Busways 755 bus that went through to Blacktown shops at Plumpton Market Place via Jersey Road, have their lives displaced on weekends as there are completely reduced services.
The 755 went through the majority of suburbs from Mount Druitt and on Saturday produced a well patronised service when it was an hourly service.Now community members have to get a Busways 745 that comes from St Marys!
On Saturdays there is only 4 services to get to Plumpton Shops and zero on Sundays. This is very considerate for the bus operators and NSW Government to leave out the important members of Mount Druitt community who need to travel one place to another and find out there is little or no service.
According to some of Save Our Bus Services, Mount Druitt And Surrounding Suburbs group members living in Blackett this is of the bus services that affects members of their community.
Where and when does this save time for our Mount Druitt community members with weekend cuts in service! Referring to the old 755 time tables - previously there was sufficient services catering this service to Plumpton - now it is insufficient. Bring back the 755 for Blackett community members!!
