I have been saying for years that the transfer from Mount Druitt train station to The Mount Druitt bus interchange is a transport problem if the train arrives even one late.
In my early years of catching buses at night - some of the decent bus drivers advised they had to wait for the train to arrive before they could leave Mount Druitt. I have always been suggesting that whilst the bus drivers have a two-way radio to their bus depot - that the operator at the bus depot has a two-way radio with the Mount Druitt Station Staff. This I realise has fallen on deaf ears as the bus drivers would be too afraid to advise the bus operaters.
So, I have now mentioned it as a suggestion on our website, I feel this new communication that can be done would life life easier for the every day train and bus transport commuter. the Train station staff would then advise if the the train has arrived, how late it is and then the bus driver would need to allow 3 minutes to reach the bus interchange - Co-operation is required not disorganisation!
