Last week on Friday, residents around Goroka Street andd Samarai Road Whalan cheered a Westbus driver testing the roads: not knowing where he turned from in Gasmata Crescent, he turned into Goroka Street, then turning ringht into Samarai Road - all along Samarai Road ending up at Corner of Luxford and Samarai Roads, Whalan, then heading towards Mount Druitt.
No one thought the bus driver was lost and about 30 to 40 residents cheered the bus driver along this route! One day after our group had visited the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure! People power does work - without local politicians!
We will never give up!
