A 780 Westbus driver advised one of our group members that there is no way the bus drivers want to drive on the intersection of Gasmata Crescent and Luxford Roads Whalan due to the safety issue. He expressed that is what is all drivers feelings.
We understand the reality of drivers safety and wonder why this wasn't raised before by the drivers but as we do support that all local and NSW Government bodies provide the safety of traffic lights to be installed, that is required to bring buses back down Gasmata Crescent, Whalan. This will slow down traffic on that hill and provide a resolution to a problem to be solved - at the and of the day all is happy!
There was no mention of other issues from this driver!
We hope that Westbus is aware that are trying to assist our community members in every way possable to bring back the buses yet at the same time, keep in mind safety of drivers.
