I have done a part poll on behalf of our Save Our Bus Services Group regarding the 780 Westbus departing Mount Druitt Interchange tonight at 8.17pm.
The poll was done by an open conversation questioning why The NSW Government is providing services from Mount Druitt to Penrith? U advised the Hon. Minister of Transport and infrastructure, Mr David Campbell has all the answers.
The poll was, do any patrons catch the bus to Penrith? The result was No 8 and Nil for Yes. Oh the answer from the Minister is 7 percent has increased patronage to Penrith since the new time table commenced 11/10/2009 yet community members that I speak too don't even know of one person that works at Penrith, visits Penrith, even shops at Penrith and catches buses to Penrith.
Theren seems to be more buses to Penrith but not within Mount Druitt!
