Services returned and a big thank you

A group of five people from the Save Our Bus Services met with the Minister for Transport David Campbell last month and put forward a very clear and concise argument against changes to Mt. Druitt and surrounding suburbs bus services.
The response back has been a very good outcome for our community as the 755 will return as of 1st March 2010 but not to original route (wont go to Blacktown and Middleton and Manifold now included)but none the less its back! New timetable out this week.The diversion of the 764 down Gasmatta Cres. has been approved pending safety and traffic issues. This will come before Council this Wednesday.
There are many other unresolved issues in neighbouring suburbs that we will keep pushing to have returned so the campaign goes on and the longer it goes the more people are coming on board.
To everyone that has helped by way of handing out leaflets,writing letters,signing petitions,attending meetings or contacting us with encouragment and support THANK YOU because without you none of this would have been possible.
Lets not forget together we can achieve lots not only for ourselves but for the betterment of all in our community. Remember this when someone shrugs their shoulders and says "what can I do?".
