Thank God For Late Buses At Night

Sometimes us public transport users (combined bus and train travellers) have to struggle to get to destinations even within transfers.

Now the NSW government allowing average of 3 minutes to transfer at night from train to bus - take example the trip that occurred to me tonight: caught the Parramatta all stops to Mount Druitt at 7.48pm - this reaches Mount Druitt at 8.19pm - I usually get the 7.51pm Parramatta express train to Mount Druitt which arrives at 8.14pm at Mount Druitt - Believe it or not the Westbus 780 leaves at 8.17pm sometimes by the time I get at the Mount using the express train I miss the bus - it leaves early!

But tomight, I arrived at Mount Druitt Station, from what we saw from the train station nio buses waiting - then the 780 was running late - Thank God - we caught it and it made us feel better. I don't think the NSW Government allows time for buses wit for trains if a bus goes on time and the trains arrive late - the next bus is half an hour later!
