Peoples needs Vs Govt. cost cutting

The Transport Minister has the final say on any changes to bus services. With a flick of a pen he can reinstate ALL of our bus services. Whether he does this is another thing. Lets not forget that the bus companies are subsidised and accountable to the government. Whatever they say goes.
Do you think that Busways ior Westbus would be against more buses,routes and drivers? Of course not!! Why? Because they would receive more money from the government. These changes are entirely about cost cutting. Dont worry about the impacts they are having right across the community in particular the social impacts on all of us, our families and friends. It is a public service meant to serve the needs of people not the needs of the government and others!
