Notice of Motion For Gasmata Crescent and Luxford Road (South) Whalan

Tonight was my first time attending Blacktown City Council meeting. One thing I found good is that the public is given a chance to speak before the chair and meeting to be heard.

You have to sign the documentation before 6.30pm on the night of the Ordiunary Council Meeting. When I spoke, I introduced our group and gave quite a brief summary of how we started, what we had achieved and what we were doing there at Council. That we were here to support call for a report to examine the corner and to request traffic lights if necessary Gasmata Crescent and Luxford Road (South) Whalan. The mayor referred it to the Traffic Committee - that means next time but they are looking into it. his was raised in Blacktown City Council meeting by Councillor Jacqueline Donladson.

Manifold Road and Middleton Crescent had been notified to Blacktown City Council, through traffic Committee Meeting held 19th February 2010. Council has found 6 passable sites for bus stops - letters have been delivered to the concerned residents - then there would a community consultation - mr Grady said he would door-knock on Friday. Bus stops not requiring consultant ion will be approved,

A Blackton City Council officer, advised us, Council has done a survey and that the visual view for buses because of their height is not a problem as far as they are concerned.
